modulation method for mobile ad-hoc network(Manet)

hi experts,

I am doing a research on manets and want to simulate in matlab the physical layer that best approach to the mobile ad hoc network technology. In order to be able to demonstrate through Matlab, which do you think is the best modulation and multiplexing method(ofdm,..) for manets?

I would appreciate any proposal, thoughts on this
