Simulink crashes on stop when using run button. Run() works fine. (2015b)

Running most simulink/simscape models in 2015b with the on-screen (green) run button causes all matlab to crash when the simulation stops.

Running with the 'run()' command works fine.

Problem can be reproduced with for example the ssc_refrigeration demo.

I also have the same problem with 2015b 64bit. I can see the model compile, but as soon as I am supposed to see any results on the scope, it closes all matlab windows. Mine does not work even from the command line. It's frustrating.
