Thanks a lot. would you please give me more information? I have 40 images and I want to detect type of noise in all images not only in one image. I want to know all of them have same noise or not.Thanks for your help

If I give you 40 of the Hubble Deep Field Images, then is the "noise" the stars or is the "noise" the hydrogen lines from the ultra cold gas clouds whose megastructures the scientist in the next room is investigating?

Whether something is "noise" or not depends on what you are researching, and so is a matter of interpretation rather than a property of the image.

Have you tried researching noise detection ?

I would like to define the type of noises of 40 images from one database, as I heard I should take average of these images and then defined the type of noise for all images, but I do not know how should I do that?
