How do I dynamically adjust the color shade of a grid cell?

Please I would like to adjust the color of my grid cell from 0 being white to 1 being a full blue(or green, red etc). I can already color my grid using the fill function, so I just want to know how to extend it to shading dynamically.

Hello Walter, maybe you didn't get my question right. I do not intend to manually adjust the colour shade, but my code is expected to produce values representing concentration of a property which I intend displaying by the colour intensity.
