Third Party Sensor Support for "MATLAB Support Package for LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Hardware"

Hello,

I am using the "MATLAB Support Package for LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Hardware" to work with the EV3 brick of Lego Mindstorms. To optimize my measurements of the robot I would like to add third party Infrared Sensors (from Mindsensors) to the robot. Is there a way that these sensors can be supported by the Support Package?

The Sensor I want to use is the "High Precision Medium Range Infrared distance sensor for NXT or EV3" (Model: DIST-NxM-v3) from Mindsensors.com

Hello fox tan,

how did you solve your problem? I have a similar problem. I want to use a mindsensor GlideWheel-AS Angle Sensor with simulink.

I think, that I have to implement an s-function to use this i2c sensor, but I have no clue where to start...

It would be very nice if you could help me.
