I want to generate a one-second discrete signal with three frequencies; 500Hz, 1.5KHz and 3.5KHz and sampling frequency Fs=8KHz .

Remember, for frequency f the equation is sin(f*t*2*pi) where t is the time in seconds.

Can you figure out how to calculate t for 1 second at a particular sampling frequency? Hint: time t = 1 will be the first point of the second group so you want so-many equally-spaced points before t = 1.
