Help with On-figure magnifier and Export_Fig

For some reason, when the function Export_Fig runs with the function On-figure magnifier , the x-axis of some of the magnified figures changes to become illegible. Its almost like some additional decimal places are added to the x-axis and they all overlap each other. As soon as Export_Fig is done, the axis goes back to normal.

If anyone has any idea what this could be or has experience on how to solve this, it would be appreciated.
