Can anybody provide matlab code for decomposing an image into cartoon and texture component?

Please explain where you put the boundary between digital enhancement of images and "cartoon"? Is stop-motion animation to be considered carton? How about live-action puppetry such as The Muppets? A lot of scenes in the Star Wars movies were computer animated, but does only Jar-Jar Binks count as cartoon ?
