Can I open or convert a .pic (PICtor) image?

I would like to work in matlab with .pic files.

How do I open this kinf of files?

Basically I would liket to use to use imread, modify the matrix and then imwrite it into a btm.

Nop! I gave it a try, but the code is looking for some headings in the file. These headings are specific for the Biorad PIC file. Unfortunately, ihis code is not for general .pic files.

Any other hint?
