matlab installation fail at login account

I cannot login to my matlab using my school account. It always stuck on the step after I login through school portal. I deleted my matlab and try to reinstall, also for a newer version. When I install matlab R2025b, I failed again at the login step. After I login my school portal, it says:

Can anyone help me with this?

I've just started getting the same error in 2025b, but also when trying to login online with an institution login. I had to make another account to even post this or log an issue because I can't sign in.

Me and some buddies over at other universities are having the same issue, so problem seems to be on matlab's end. Just gnna have to wait till they get to fixing it ig.

I just had an undergrad reporting the same issue. Looks like an institutional login issue as said and on matlab's end.
No solution to give but wanted to comment to press the issue.

I forwarded the URL of this thread to someone at MathWorks who will see that it gets to the correct team.

I had to create a personal account just to login as well - I am getting the same error. It seems to be a server connection issue on matlab's end

i got similar issue when applied trial version. the installer showed the "confirm user" page error page: An attempt to create a new profile for an email address already in use was detected. Even though i am not creating a new account , i am using my account that i am signed in on matlab site to download the license

I've been having the same issue throughout the day. Below someone from Staff mentioned the issue has been solved. It has not. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

This is a widespread issue across US and Europe according to my friends, maybe just wait for the fix after they get back to work.

(Answers Dev) I reported this thread internally. There was an issue for SSO users that affected their sign-in to their University linked MathWorks Account. This issue has been resolved. Information on this can be found on the MathWorks Status Page https://status.mathworks.com/.

It has not been fixed yet. Currently experiencing the same issues others have mentioned. Log-in screen stuck after logging in with the university credentials. Same since yesterday.

That's an error I've not seen. I'd ask your professor first and if they don't know I'd call Mathworks on Monday. They give free telephone installation help even for student accounts. R2026a is out now. Try that one.

I can't download it since I can't even login to my academic account on MathWorks website.
