Toolbox compatibility with licenses from different years

Hello, is it possible for 2025a version toolboxes to work with 2023a licenses?

Are you specifically asking about the license manager or are you asking about using a combination of products from different releases together?

If the latter, we don't support using (as an example) the Optimization Toolbox from release R2025a with MATLAB from release R2023a or vice versa. The toolbox may be using functionality that didn't exist in the older release of MATLAB or using functionality that was present in an older release of MATLAB but has since been removed or changed.
