matlab -nosplash -nodesktop for windows 10/11

I can use 'matlab -nosplash -nodesktop' in Linux/MacOS to lunch matlab in the current terminal. But if I do so under windows 10/11, a matlab terminal pops out instead of lunching matlab in current terminal (Windows Terminal, or VIM/NVIM terminal). Any idea about this?

I think that this is the expected behavior for -nodesktop on Windows. See this prior post for more information: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/375493-why-did-the-nodesktop-startup-option-disappeared-from-the-documentation

Many thanks for this. I have found that VS Code for Matlab can lunch a matlab terminal inside VS Code even under Windows 10/11. That is a good thing. Many thanks again.
