- Ensure that "vgmin" and "vgmax" are set to realistic values that reflect the physical capabilities of the turbine's gate actuator. For instance, typical values might range from -0.1 to 0.1 pu/s, depending on the turbine's design. Similarly, set "gmin" and "gmax" to realistic gate opening limits in "pu".
- Configure "Tsr" and "Tsm" to values that reflect the dynamics of the gate servomotor. For e.g., setting "Tsr" and "Tsm" to values between 0.001 and 0.15 seconds can simulate realistic gate response times.
- Instead of applying a step change in mechanical power (e.g., from 50 MW to 330 MW), consider using a ramped load profile that gradually increases or decreases the power demand over time. This approach allows the governor and gate actuator to respond within their physical limitations.
My Steam Turbine and Governor block is showing limits on Power ramping up and Down on Pm output and when I put 200MW ramp up in 1 sec it perfectly ramp-up which is not true

This is my Input side of turbine and I am trying to add an dvery dynamic load and when I put Vgmax and Vgmin (Gate Opening limits ) for tandem multi mass turbine , it is no showing any effect on Pm , just perfectly out put goes from 50MW to 330MW in 1 sec not causing any problem , how can I implement gate limit impacts on Pm.Thanks

Hi Mariam,
As a possible workaround, you could try the following scenarios:
Hope this helps!
