I am working on a project in simulink, modeling a sytem where there is a load of a "melter" with 6 electrodes of variable resistance and capacitance. There are 2 power supplies of split phase feeding the load. Most importantly, on the secondary side of the power supply transformers, it is ungrounded. We are attempting to create ground faults as shown in the pictures(to use with sensing transformers and relays for fault handling), but of course because the system is technically "ungrounded" it doesn't show up on our voltage scopes. Has anyone done a project where they try to create a ground fault in an "ungrounded" system? Is there a library with an earth ground, or special ground that makes this possible? We are stuck on how to proceed. Anyone with experience creating or dealing with ground faults on an ungrounded system in simulink would be greatly appreciated. The simulink file as well as a few screenshots are included.

In Simscape Electrical you can use an Electrical Reference block to simulate the connection to the ground. You can create artificial ground faults by connecting one side of the load to this earth point through a fault resistance or switch. Modeling the earth connection and introducing faults manually (e.g., by closing a switch to ground) can effectively simulate ground fault conditions for relay and sensor testing.
