Is there a mode converter in the corrugated horn antenna?

Hello,
Excuse me for this beginners question, I'm new on this subject.
From what I understand is the fundamental mode of a circular waveguide TE11, for the corrugated horn this is HE11.
In the literature they mention various designs of "mode converters".
Is this also part of an antenna generated with "hornConicalCorrugated" ?
Thanks for feedback!
Ben

Hi Ben,
In circular waveguides, the fundamental mode is TE11, while corrugated horns support the HE11 mode, which offers better radiation patterns and polarization. Mode converters are used to transition between these modes. In a tool like 'hornConicalCorrugated', this mode conversion is integrated into the design, using corrugations to efficiently transform TE11 to HE11 for optimal antenna performance.
