Motor control blockset flux observer

Hi everyone,
I’m using the Motor Control Blockset’s flux observer for an induction motor and want to gain a deeper understanding of how the observer calculates the rotor angle (θ\thetaθ). I’ve reviewed the formulas provided in MATLAB’s documentation, but I’d like to better understand their derivation and the theoretical background.
I noticed that the references provided in the MATLAB documentation seem to be focused on flux observers for SPMSM (Surface Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors) rather than induction motor.
Are there any resources, papers, or references available online that explain the derivation of these formulas specifically for this induction motor flux observers? I haven’t been able to find anything substantial so far.
Thank you in advance for your help!

The equations for rotor magnetic flux and torque in an induction motor can be found in the articles listed below.
I hope this will help!
