Set color of STL file using rigidBodyTree and addVisual

6 views (last 30 days)
When a robot is built and visualized using rigidBodyTree and addVisual functions all used STL files occure in a grey color. Is there an way to color single STL files in another color?
Many thanks in advance!

The workflow for coloring complex geometries from STL files has been extensively discussed in the community. You may go through the following discussion where you can find valuable insights and potential solutions.
Additionally, you can refer to the following resources to know more about creatin patches of colored polygons using the 'patch' function in MATLAB:

Thank you for your reply. These resources may work for visualising STL files in a defined color, but unfortunately not for my problem with the addVisual and rigidBodyTree functionality.
