I am trying to copy a set of cells from Excel and paste them into a variable into Matlab Online. Using Chrome. Tried the other hacks, but still nothing. I can copy and paste from Matlab Online to Matlab Online and from Matlab Online to Excel, but not the otherway around. I don't want to upload the entire sheet, just a few hundred cells that are nicely arranged in a column. I also don't want to upload the spreadsheet to Online and then upload from there. I have a lot of cells to copy from multiplie spreadsheets and it is just way easier to copy and paste so that I can organize everything the way I need to.
Any suggestions.

What I mean by way easier is that it is easier to copy and paste the cells then reformat the spreadsheets or upload them to the server and then import from each.

Hi,
Copying and pasting directly from Excel to MATLAB Online can sometimes be tricky due to browser limitations.
For best results with browsers, I recommend using keyboard shortcuts over mouse clicks (Ctrl + C/V or Cmd + C/V)
Another potential work around is to use a Plain Text Editor as an Intermediary, and see if it helps:
  1. Copy the cells from Excel.
  2. Paste them into a plain text editor (like Notepad).
  3. Copy the text from the editor.
  4. Paste it into MATLAB Online.
