Signal Editor error: Dot indexing is not supported

Hi,
I´m using Signal Editor block for a long time now. But all of a sudden, the block gives following error:
Dot indexing is not supported for variables of this type.
This error occurs whenever I try to create or edit scenarios. I also added a picture of this error. This even happens if I open a completely new Simulink model and add a fresh Signal Editor block. Anyone has a clue?
I already tried restarting Matlab and my Notebook.
Best regards
Chris

Experiment with enclosing the file name in ' '
File name: 'untitled.mat'
Thank you for your reply. I tried, but a new error occurs then:
The File name without '' is the default name used when adding a new Signal Editor block. So I would have been surprised if this helped. Any other suggestions? Will reinstalling Simulink help?
Its weird since my the Signal Editor block can read the .mat file and the simulation works. Its just that I cannot change the underlying data by clicking on the button "Open Signal Editor", then I get the error.
Hi @Christian Hanzl, which version are you using?
Hi Christian,
I tried on R2024a and I'm not facing this issue, could you please let me know whether you are doing some specific steps before adding a new signal editor block?
