Complementary runtime library for 24.1.0.2578822 (R2024a) Update 2'

Hi,

I'm trying to compile a Matlab app but I'm getting the following error...

The products you are trying to install are not compatible with the installed version of MATLAB Runtime.
Download and install the latest R2024a MATLAB Runtime from https://www.mathworks.com/products/compiler/matlab-runtime.html
After updating, rerun this installer.

Matlab version '24.1.0.2578822 (R2024a) Update 2'

Runtime version '24.1.0.2568132 (R2024a) Update 1'

Does this happen because runtime (R2024a) Update 2 is needed? If so, it's missing from the above 'install the latest...' link.

I'm assuming that Update 1 is not sufficient!

This is the acceped answer from support...

Thank you for contacting MathWorks Support. The MCR page does show MCR 24.1, which is the correct version. I am guessing you would have expected it to say 24.2, which makes a lot of sense. However, I downloaded the R2024a MCR from the link you provided, and it does seem to show update 2. You can confirm this by downloading the .zip from our website. You should see a file called "Versioninfo.xml". If you open this file, in the "description" field, it should say "Update 2".

I suspect there is a lag between the MATLAB version appearing and the corresponding runtime version. Either way this is now fixed.
