can I use matlab on new device?

Hi , for e.g., if I am using matlab on a computer or laptop and after if the laptop which used crashes can I use the tool in a new device or laptop?

It is possible to deactivate MATLAB on a machine (even if it is not available) and reactivate it on another computer.
