I uninstalled MathWorks Service Host and cannot reinstall

I kept getting an error that the "Install Mathworks Service Host" had failed, and my computer fans were really loud, so I looked up how to uninstall and reinstall Mathworks Service Host. I uninstalled it fine, but now each time I download the disk image to reinstall it, nothing happens when I try to open it. I have a Mac. Any suggestions?
