Downgrade Simulink Real-Time target support package

Hey all,
When I wanted to run a simulink real-time model on a speedgoat real-time performance machine, I got the following error:
"Cannot connect to target 'TargetPC1': Target computer software version mismatch. Click Upgrade Software button to configure software for the target computer.
Version mismatch. Simulink Real-Time target support package version is 22.1.0 and version on development computer is 22.1.3."
Obviously I do not want to update on a machine that is used for other purposes, so I want to downgrade my version to 22.1.0. But I do not know how to?
I am using matlab 2022a.

Hello Koen,
You can download the Simulink Real-Time software version you want and also you can download the software version to your development computer.
The general procedure for updating Simulink Real-Time is:
  1. Navigate to the MathWorks download page: www.mathworks.com/downloads
  2. Navigate to the page for the Simulink Real-Time software version that you want. Download the software version to your development computer.
  3. Install and integrate the new release software.
Follow the steps mentioned in the following MathWorks documentation:
Note that you should always backup your work before making any changes to your software environment.
To understand about the error ‘Cannot connect to target ‘TargetPC1: Target computer software version mismatch’. Please refer to the following MATLAB Answer post which talks about troubleshooting steps:
I hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply.
On the downloads page, I can only download full matlab releases. I see no way how to search for the simulink real time software?
Hi Koen,
Please check the following reference to know how to downgrade a SLRT model to the required version:
To export a Simulink model to a previous version:
  1. Open the model in a newer Simulink version or use Simulink Online.
  2. From the Simulink Toolstrip, go to Save > Export Model to > Previous Version.
  3. Open the exported model in the older version of Simulink.
Note: The model will save in the older format, but compatibility with new features is not guaranteed. Refer to the "Export Model to Previous Simulink Version" documentation for detailed compatibility information.
The other mentioned workflow is for not model specific version update so you were able to see the MATLAB related information.
Hope it helps.
Thanks, in the end, I figured it is probably the least painful to just update.
