Please clarify questions related to spatial vector modulation (SVM)

I am using the SVM block available in Matlab for simulation, but when I open this block, it doesn't seem to resemble any SVM algorithm that I am familiar with. Could someone explain or provide information about the SVM algorithm used in this block? Thank you in advance.

Hi Loc,
The space vector modulation (SVM) technique processes the reference voltage vector to produce suitable gate signals for the inverter during each PWM cycle, aiming to maintain a continuously rotating space vector.
For each PWM cycle, using the voltage as input, the SVM algorithm performs the following steps:
  • Computes the on and off gating times based on the reference voltage vector.
  • Utilizes these gating times to create double hump modulation waveforms.
  • Employs the gating times to generate the correct gate pulses for the inverter switches.
