Ultrasonic Detection Generator Measurement Seems Incorrect?

4 views (last 30 days)
I am getting familiar with the sensors available to test ADAS in Matlab (here). As you can see below, there are two sensors in this scenario - a radar (narrow FOV), and an ultrasonic sensor (wide FOV). The radar detections (red dots) are aligned to the edge of the block, but the ultrasonic sensor detection (dashed line) is offset by almost 1 meter.
The above scenario was initially created by using the Driving Scenario Designer app and then exporting the created scenario as a Simulink model. The above image is a snapshot from the Bird Eye View App.
I am under the impression that the dashed line should be overlapping the red dots as this is what I saw when I designed the scenario is the Driving Scenario Designer app (as seen below).I noticed that the Ultrasonic Sensor is always off by a little bit no matter what scenario I create...has anyone run into this before?
The Ultrasonic block is set to read the Actor Profiles from the Scenario Reader block.

Hi Kieren,
Can you tell me what you mean by "off by a little bit"? That might help the community answer your question better.

It looks like a bug which was fixed in R2024b. Please see my answer in the question below.
