Matlab 2020b suddenly not launching

Hi,

After years using, my Matlab 2020b is suddenly not launching. After double click, the icon blinks in the Windows toolbar and disapers. I already unistalled and reinstalled but the problem persists. The Matlab 2019b I also have installed is working normally. Any idea? Thanks!

Hi Brunno,

Just an idea, however I have had similar issues before. The root cause was always an antivirus killing MATLAB before it launched. It might worthwhile temporarly stopping any antivirus services and seeing if MATLAB will run as an admin. If this solves the issue, you can usually generate exceptions within your antivirus.

The cause was "Corrupt preferences"
