In a revolute joint what values, parameters should be considered for spring stiffness and damping coefficient

While trying to calculate actuator torque by giving motion as input, I doubt 1. What parameters should I consider for stiffness and damping inside internal mechanics of revolute joint, so that I get good output with less error.

I understand that you want to modify the stiffness and damping coefficient for the revolute joint you have modelled.
You can expand the “Internal Mechanics” section of the Block Parameters dialog box and specify the “Damping Coefficient” and “Spring Stiffness.”
Refer the documentation for more information:
As for the optimal values of these parameters, that solely depends on the application and the nature of system being modelled.
Best,

Thank you sir, but can can you give me some input on what all stiffness and damping should I consider when I am lifting an iron rod from 0 to 90 degree with a motor and gears. If I am holding the rod at one end and lifting.
