How to show the inspector menu using App Designer?

15 views (last 30 days)
In the MATLAB R2023a environment, even if I start App Designer and place a "command button", the inspector menu on the right side does not appear. Do I need to configure anything?

Hello.
I believe you mean the "Component Browser" menu on the right. There is a vertical tab on the right side that says "Component Browser". You click on it and expand. Here, you can set properties for any item or set callbacks.
If that tab itself isn't show for you, then I think there might be a glitch. In that case, you can try restarting MATLAB. Because in my case with the same conditions as yours, there is no option that allows me to hide that particular option in the tab that says "Component Browser".

Thank you for your reply.
When I display the component browser on the right, the Inspector (Properties) menu is not displayed, as shown in the attached image. The same thing happens when I restart MATLAB.

@與明 I'm not able to reproduce this on my end. Could you check by creating a new app again? If this doesn't help and you are facing several other glitches like this, I think re-installing MATLAB would be the way to go.
