Encoder input (PWM in) for Nucleo board
Show older comments
Hi,
I am searching for a PWM input block for a Nucleo board (NUCLEO-H743ZI2), which I could not find in the Nucleo library.
However, I have found a reference to it on page Control Rotary Encoder Knob Using STMicroelectronics Nucleo Board, wich eventually point to C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2022b\examples\nucleo\examples.xml
The xml file is there, but the file it try to find (ControlRotaryEncoderKnobUsingStmNucleoBoardExample) is not in the xml file and not in the folders. Could you point to where is it or provide one?

Thanks,
Zoltan

Hi Zoltan,
The example you had referred 'Control Rotary Encoder Knob Using STMicroelectronics Nucleo Board' was released as part of R2023a. You need to install the R2023a version to access the xml file.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply - I upgarded Matlab and I was able to open the encoder example and managed to build it.
But on the mask, it states the pins for three Nucleo-F boards - and I have a Nucleo-H board.

I guess it mean that, I cannot use this block on my board.
If that is the case, could you point me to some tutorial on how to modify the block, if it is possible or suggest something to solve this problem?
Thanks, Zoltan
