Zero order hold for signal reconstruction

Hi I am using

yr2=interp1(ndtv,ys,t1,'linear');

to reconstruct analog signal from discrete signal using first order hold. Is there a way to use this command for zero order hold?

Perhaps set the method input to interp1 to 'previous'.
