In most cases (except when I create a simple figure, like plot(1:10,1:10) as soon as Matlab starts up), when I click the button on the right-hand side of the menu bar of any figure in Matlab in order to dock it, Matlab gets frozen and there is no way to take control back unless by force quitting it. I am using Matlab R2022B on MacOS 16.1 running on Apple Silicon. The same behavior was experienced in all earlier releases until R2020A, at least, either with Apple Intel cpu and Apple Silicon.

Not yet. I wanted to check if anybody had a workaround or had experienced the same issue.

I am also having the same problem. This problem is not related to the version of MATLAB. It also occurs when the Mac is in safe boot mode, so no other app is causing this problem.

Hi, I am wondering if your OS meets the system requirement?
It reads, 13, 12 and 11.6 are supported.

Yes, it does. In my first post I mistakenly wrote macOS 16.1 (it is the most recent version of iOS) but it is macOS 13.0 (Ventura). The same problem occurred with Monterey, Big Sur, Catalina.

I see. It seems a bug. You should put it to the bug report. I am sorry for any convenience.
