is it possible to use pdetool with a nonhomogenous initial condition (in form of a matrix)?

Hi there I have another question. before trying to write a code for discretized equation. I tried to use pdetool in MATLAB, but I couldn't complete it since it didn't accept my initial condition (there was an error about reshape function which pde tool uses) so I stopped using that tool. However I wonder if there is any way for me to use pdetool with this kind of initial condition(initial condition in form of a matrix (taken from an image))? I deeply appreciate your help. :)

Please post the code which reproduces the problem and a complete copy of the error message. Without knowing any details it is impossible to guees a useful answer.
