Keyboard shortcut for switching between editor and command window not working on Mac?

Hello,
I'm new to Matlab, so forgive me if this is an easy fix... I'm on Mac for the record.
I'm trying to use the Command + 0 and Shift + Command + 0 shortcuts to toggle between the editor and command window, but it only seems to work in one direction.
From command window back to editor, I have no problems. The cursor appears in the editor and I can start typing.
But going from editor to command window, the cursor will show up in the command window but I'm unable to type. The outline of the window becomes highlighted in blue and the cursor appears, but no keystrokes show up. If I mouse click in the command window, then everything works. But that kinda defeats the purpose of the shortcut.
How should I resolve this?
Thanks for the help.
Adam

This is a know bug that affects atleast the Command 0 and Command N shortcuts. The bug has already been notified to the development team so that they can consider it for future releases of MATLAB.

Got it, thanks. Glad to hear that the team is already aware of it.
This bug is still not fixed. I am using MATLAB 2023b in MacOS 13.5.1
My workaround is to drag the Command Window out of MATLAB. Thiy way, both the shortkeys cmd+0 and cmd+shift+0 work for me (MATLAB 2023b in MacOS 13.5.1).
