controlling longitude labels for windowed areas

I am initially plotting whole world swaths of satellite data. Those start with longitude ranging from 0 to 360 degrees East (where dateline is 180 degrees). So longitude starts at 0 at prime meridian (Greenwich) and rises from there as we move to the east. From that full world view, I zoom into smaller areas of the swath using displayed lat/lon values to define my sample window. When I do that, the longitude labeling switches to West reference. Dateline is still 180 degrees, but now numbers are larger to west of dateline and smaller to east. It's technically still accurate, but not what I want. How do I keep output plot longitude labels in East units?

Really? Nobody knows how to do this?

Seems like it should be an axesm property, but not one I can find. The issues is this. My users start with full world plot (bottom image). Note proper East longitude along the bottom.

Using that full view as a reference they zoom into an area, like the higher wind part of the swath in North Atlantic. When they do that, the plotted longitude references switch from East to West (top image). In order to make this a fluid process where they can easily work back and forth easily, I need longitude reference to stay with East notation.

Any ideas?
