HOW TO INPUT VIDEO IN MATLAB

Hai,I am new to matlab.Can anyone suggest me how to input video in matlab and take frames from it... I am working on project titled "Block Wiener Based image registration for moving target indication" Is it possible to input video with .flv , thank you

From this very brief description, I actually see a good chance that working with Simulink and the Video and Image Processing Blockset is better for your application.
Here, you have also blocks to import your video file. If it is not a supported format, we can help you to convert it.

Thank you sir for your answer.Sir,Is it not possible to do in matlab.Actually I imported videofile(by converting .flv to .mpg)in matlab using 'mmreader' and taken frames from it.I have no idea on how to start block wiener registration on frame to allign consecutive frames in a video sequence.Can you please suggest on it.Thank you sir
