How can I simulate Buffon's needle on MATLAB?

Good after noon, every one. I am studying what is called Buffon's needle at school. I am a beginner who has rarely used MATLAB.

I would like to write a program that verifies whether a linear function whose length is defined, its slope, and its intercept are variables intersects or does not intersect with innumerable parallel lines at equal intervals, where the distance between each other is given as a variable. I will attach an image.
