startup script for whole team

I would like a startup script, that lives with all the matlab scripts in our repo, so that everyone on our team is working off the same paths. I saw a lot of information about startup.m scripts, but those seem to be user specific. Any suggestions?

I use a tool to syncronize a function, which is updated by others in this forum: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/492752-table-of-matlab-release-features#comment_1561770 . It should be easy to adjust it for your needs: The startup function downloads the current version of the function to be shared and calls it.
