Why do I not see "Split job into separate processes" in Segmentation for CAT12?

5 views (last 30 days)
I do not see the "Split job into separate processes" field in Segmentation for CAT12.
I downloaded my CAT12 zip file from http://dbm.neuro.uni-jena.de/cat12/?C=M;O=D and chose "cat12_latest.zip" to download.
I have no idea what seems to be the problem.
Does anyone know why this is happening? I would appreciate any help. I'm using Windows, if this helps.
Also, the link from https://neuro-jena.github.io/cat/index.html#DOWNLOAD does not work, so although I tried re-downloading the CAT12 file from there I wasn't able to.

Hi,
The issue encountered above, "can't find 'Split job into separate processes' field in Segmentation for CAT12" occurs when the "CAT12" folder is not placed inside the "spm12/toolbox" folder.
Please go through the below steps to resolve the same:
  • Download the "spm12" zip file, and unzip it on your local. (make sure to download the version compatible with your MATLAB version release)
  • Download the "cat12_latest.zip" file, and unzip it. Now move the unzipped folder of "cat12" to "spm12/toolbox" folder.
  • In MATLAB, add the "spm12" folder and subfolders to path.
  • Launch the "spm12" from the MATLAB command window("spm fmri" should do it).
  • Click on "Segment", from the "spm12" menu, as shown below
  • This will open "Batch Editor" window. Now select the "CAT12: segmentation" tool as shown in the below figure
  • This will add a module "CAT12: Segmentation" to the Module List. Select it, and you will be able to find the "Split job into seperate processes" as shown in the below figure.
Hope this helps!
