what is wrong with my code? film() says too many input arguments

Hello im trying to do a least squares code , i got almost everything except that when i use the function "fitlm" it says error all the time too many input arguments

fitlm seems to work as you are using it:

matriz = rand(3,2);
mdl = fitlm(matriz(:,1),matriz(:,2))

Perhaps there is another m-file with the same name shadowing the built-in fitlm.m.

To find out, do this:

which -all fitlm

/MATLAB/toolbox/stats/classreg/fitlm.m
/MATLAB/toolbox/stats/bigdata/@tall/fitlm.m  % Shadowed tall method
/MATLAB/toolbox/stats/gpu/@gpuArray/fitlm.m  % Shadowed gpuArray method

and see if there is another fitlm function somewhere that's being called instead.

Can you post the complete error message you get when you try to run fitlm?

OK. The error's actually with the std function (which is being called from fitlm), so do

which -all std

and see what that says.

If there's one that's not in your MATLAB installation directory, i.e., one you created or downloaded, rename it.

Use the debugging

dbstop if error

run the code. When it stops examine size(model) and check

which std(model(1).y_r)
