error in installing MATLAB R2008a in windows 7

I tried to install MATLAb 2008a in windows 7 ,but it is not installing,can anyone tell what is the problem please

Also, you might have to disable Aero graphics; see http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/261487
Note that 2008a is not officially supported for Windows 7: Windows 7 support started with 2009a.

sir I am working on "Segmentation of Overlapping Objects",I have to process the image with Euler’s Elastica ,I have uploaded the image ,cab u tell how to do it please

I do not know anything about segmentation of overlapping objects.
