Slow simulation of PV system

I am modeling stand-alone PV system for analyzing faults and my simulation is very slow. I am using PV model from simulink. And I have 2 string and 5 module per string. I have to simulate open circuit , short circuit.... faults in PV array. Can you please suggest me how I can make it fast ?

Hello zenebe, If your system is complex and modelled modelled in continues time domain, then systems performance slow. To make system fast modelled in discret time domain.
