FOC Control Motor Control Blockset

Hello,

I'm using mcb_param_est_host_read.slx to get the parameters of my PMSM motor.

However in the application shaft is tied to proppeler.

My question - when measuring motor params with mcb_param_est_host_read.slx should I have proppeler tied to the motor or measure the motor alone? Because for sure inertia and probably max torque measurements will be different with and without proppeler.

I'm asking in terms of using these parameters in mcb_pmsm_f​oc_sensorl​ess_f28379​d.

Hi Adam,

The motor parameter estimtion of this demo mcb_param_est_host_read is based on no-load condition on the PMSM, so it is recommend to measure motor parameter alone. This link below explains the prerequistic and steps to run this test.
