recognising the centre point

I am working on finger point recognisation, I have taken input image,and cropped it and now have to find core point in fingerprint,can anyone tell how to process,I have coded but not getting result

As Image Analyst asked in another thread,

Which toolbox is "core_detect" or "coredetect" in? Because it's not built-in with the toolboxes I have. What does it say if you do "which core_detect" in the command window?
