Ports do not move on Referenced Subsystem block.

4 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
The ports on my subsystem blocks have stopped moving around the perimiter. I was able to click the arrow and drag the port around the edge of a subsystem block as shown in the left block below where the Command Speed is on the bott. The block on the right was created right after and now none of the ports in the entire model can be dragged. When the port drag is attempted it immediatly changes to a connection line and will try to auto connect to another port.

Hello Paul Usimaki,
As per my understanding you are experiencing an issue with the movement of ports on your subsystem blocks in a modeling software.
Here are a few suggestions to troubleshoot this problem:
1. Check for any software updates: Ensure that you are using the latest version of the modeling software. Sometimes, software updates can address bugs or issues related to port movement.
2. Reset the subsystem block: Try resetting the subsystem block that is causing the issue. You can do this by right-clicking on the block and selecting the "Reset" or "Reset Position" option. This might reset the port positions and allow you to move them again.
3. Check the software settings: Review the software's settings or preferences related to port movement. There might be an option that got accidentally toggled off, preventing the movement of ports. Look for any settings related to port dragging or automatic connections.
4. Restart the software: Sometimes, a simple restart of the modeling software can resolve unexpected behavior. Close the software completely and then launch it again to see if the issue persists.
Remember to provide specific details about your software version and any recent changes or updates you made to the model.
I hope it helps.
