Real-time model simulation with Nucleo board

Hi. I'm a newbie with matlab simulink so the question may sound a bit basic but I can't find any solution regarding my problem.

I'm currently doing a model with Simulink using Nucleo boards (F302R8 and L476RG). The model works fine when I deploy it directly to the board biut I cannot perform real-time simulation of the model while the board is running. I checked the hardware settings and the connected I/O port is defined corretly. Is there other ways to monitor my GPIO input values while the model and board is running? Thank you in advance.

Note: I can perform real-time simulation of the model using Arduino Mega but cannot do real-time simulation with Nucleo board.
