yagi uda radiation pattern

sir/madam i require the electric field equation for yagi uda antenna from which i can write a matlab program.I found it in balanis text book.But is it necessary to use method of moments technique for getting the radiation pattern?Don't we have any other way for getting the field pattern?

Your tags include "using matlab", but your question is about the theory of electric field equations.

freq = 400e6; lambda = 3e8 / freq; L = lambda / 2; d = lambda / 4; N = 5;
elements = zeros(N, 3); for i = 1:N elements(i, :) = [i * d, 0, L]; end
plot3(elements(:, 1), elements(:, 2), elements(:, 3), 'o-');
