sdwriter.exe-system error while writing Rasbian Image to SD card because of missing MSCCP140.dll, VCRUNTIME140.dll and VCRUNTIME140_1.dll file

I 've been trying to use the Raspberry Pi support package with Matlab.

Follow all the standard procedure provided by Mathwoork. But the step in which Rasbian image is to be write into SD card, in that step getting a error 'sdwriter.exe-system'. In the error it says that MSCCP140.dll, VCRUNTIME140.dll and VCRUNTIME140_1.dll files are missing.

I tried to download the missing file and place it into the folder-C->program files->Matlab->R2021a->Bin-win64. Then, I restart the system and tried to write Rasbian image to SD card , but still faces the same problem. Missing files are already present in the said path.

I have changed the OS of system from windows 7 - 64 bit to Windows 10- 64 bit but facing the same problem.

Please help me to sort out this issue.

Hi Mahesh,

Check out the below answer. You would need to copy the dll directly to "C:\Windows\System32" instead of the MATLAB installation folder.
