how to calculat the phase shift in 2d planar array

 am designing 2d planar array with 8*8 size which which should steer the beam from -45 to +45 degrees .so to cover this range what's the phase shift i have to take.

                                                    please help me to find this

For a planar array, the phase progression must be calculated independently along the x- and y-directions based on the desired scan direction. Rather than calculating these values manually, the below phaseShift function can be used to determine the phase shifts required for beam steering:

Phase Shift for Array Steering

By specifying the operating frequency, element spacing, and the desired azimuth and elevation steering angles, the required phase shift values for the array elements can be computed directly using the above function.
