GUI runs twice after taking all the inputs

I am writing a code in GUI where after taking all the inputs, the GUI is running the code twice to display the results. Since the runtime is 5 minutes , it is now taking 10 mins which is very frustrating.

What causes the code to run the first time? Does the user press a button on the GUI?
