Braille Recognition knowing the x-y coord of each dots

Hi. I'm working on my final project for the University. I have to translate a document from braille to text. After many attempts, I managed to find the x-y coordinates of all dots of a document, but now I do not know how to proceed. How do I extract the individual characters and then compare them to get the translation? thanks a lots. Giuseppe
